What I can offer my clients
I work with organizations that need independent, rigorous analysis on complex strategic questions. My engagements are designed to be focused, intensive, and time-bounded—delivering maximum analytical value while respecting both your resources and mine.
Service Offerings
Strategic Analysis
Scope: Comprehensive requirements discovery, research design, analytical framework development, mid-engagement review and refinement, final presentation and recommendations.
Typical Duration: 24-60 hours, depending on analytical complexity and deliverable requirements.
Best For: Major strategic decisions, market entry analysis, organizational restructuring, policy development, or complex operational challenges requiring multi-dimensional analysis.
Evaluation Services
Scope: 360-degree assessment of existing proposals, initiatives, or process improvements. Analysis includes approach alternatives, benefit-risk profiles, stakeholder impact assessment, implementation considerations, and structured recommendations with associated costs, dependencies, and risk factors.
Typical Duration: 10-20 hours, depending on subject complexity.
Best For: Investment decisions, strategic initiative review, vendor proposal evaluation, or process optimization assessment.
AI-Enhanced Analysis Training
Scope: Intensive tutorial sessions teaching corporate teams and analytical staff advanced techniques for AI-assisted analysis, including systematic prompt engineering, assumption surfacing, and confidence assessment methodologies.
Format: 2-3 focused sessions of 2-3 hours each.
Best For: Organizations seeking to build internal analytical capabilities and improve the quality of AI-assisted research and decision support.
Analysis Audit & Review
Scope: Meta-analytical review of existing analyses—whether internal, third-party, or consultant-produced—evaluating completeness, methodological rigor, credibility, and analytical depth. Deliverable includes structured assessment and improvement recommendations.
Format: Project-based or monthly retainer.
Best For: Quality assurance on high-stakes analyses, due diligence review, or establishing analytical standards and processes.
Strategic Partnership Retainer
Scope: Guaranteed monthly access to analytical services with flexible application across any of the above service areas, plus ad hoc strategic consultation as needs arise.
Commitment: 8-10 hours monthly, with unused hours available for larger projects in subsequent periods.
Best For: Organizations with ongoing analytical needs requiring rapid-response capability and consistent strategic support.
Engagement Principles
Independent Analysis Only: I do not provide post-hoc justification for predetermined conclusions. If you need intellectual cover for decisions already made, that falls outside my scope of work.
Ethical Alignment Required: I work only on engagements where I can maintain full analytical integrity and where the work serves legitimate organizational or societal interests.
Scope Management: Mid-project changes in direction or scope may require timeline and resource adjustments. I’ll flag these early and work with you to find practical solutions.
Travel Policy: Travel expenses (transportation, lodging, per diem) are billed separately. For engagements requiring travel, we’ll establish clear expense parameters upfront.
Investment & Process
Rates: Strategic Analysis and Evaluation Services are billed at $350/hour. Training sessions are offered as fixed-price engagements at $1,500 for the first session, and $1,000 for follow-up sessions, and may include up to 8 users. Analysis Audits vary by scope ($3,000 – $5,000 typical range). Strategic Partnership Retainers begin at $4,000/month.
Initial Consultation: Every potential engagement begins with a complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss your needs, explore approach options, and ensure we can establish the trust and rapport necessary for effective collaboration.
Case Study Participation: With client approval, I may develop anonymized case studies highlighting analytical approaches and outcomes. For organizations comfortable with public attribution, this can serve as valuable thought leadership. We’ll discuss case study parameters during our initial consultation.
Working Together
My role is strategic partner, not contractor. You’re engaging someone who will challenge assumptions, surface uncomfortable questions, and deliver analysis that serves your actual needs rather than your preferred answers. The goal is decision-quality insight that stands up to scrutiny and serves your organization’s long-term interests.
